Arkansas MLS guide
How Does CARMLS Work?
Cooperative Arkansas REALTORS® MLS (CARMLS) is a local multiple listing service used by licensed real estate professionals to share property information and search for homes for their buyers. Arkansas Flat Fee MLS provides listings through CARMLS for applicable Arkansas properties.

CARMLS geographic coverage
Cooperative Arkansas REALTORS® MLS (CARMLS) is one of the primary MLS systems through which we provide Arkansas listing coverage, serving Cleburne, Craighead, Faulkner, Garland, Greene, Hot Spring, Jefferson, Lonoke, Polk, Pulaski, Saline, Sharp, Van Buren, and White counties.
CARMLS is the local MLS assigned to our Little Rock, Conway and Hot Springs location pages, among others. A Pulaski County property and a Faulkner County property can use the same listing system while retaining their own address, property details and local market context.
Check the Arkansas MLS coverage directory for the current local inventory. No single MLS covers all of Arkansas.
How a flat-fee CARMLS listing works
- Confirm the appropriate MLS option for your property's location.
- Choose a listing package and provide accurate property details, your asking price and photographs.
- Complete the required listing paperwork and property disclosures, and review the listing details before submission.
- Your property is entered into the appropriate listing system. You manage buyer inquiries and keep the listing information up to date.
Our listing process explains the service, and the step-by-step Arkansas seller guide provides more detail.
Seller benefits and responsibilities
A flat-fee listing provides MLS exposure without paying for traditional full-service listing representation. You retain control over pricing, showings, negotiations and offers.
You are responsible for accurate property information and photos, required paperwork and disclosures, responding to inquiries, and communicating listing changes. Listing changes are included in both current packages.
Buyer-agent compensation is negotiable and handled separately outside MLS listing fields. See our seller FAQs for common questions.
How buyers and agents find listings
Licensed real estate professionals can access listing information through the selected MLS and contact you directly about showings and offers.
Consumer websites such as Zillow and Realtor.com display listing information according to their own policies. A listing in one MLS does not mean it is entered into another MLS.
Public websites generally display the listing brokerage's phone number. When Call Forwarding is included in your package, calls to that number can be routed directly to the property owner through our automated phone system. Third-party tour requests and website forms use those websites' own systems, rather than this telephone routing.
Compare package features and Call Forwarding before choosing your listing.
Flat-fee listing packages
Our current Arkansas packages are Standard at $199 and Premium at $299. Confirm the appropriate listing option for your property; these guides do not promise placement in multiple MLS systems.

Frequently asked questions
What does CARMLS stand for?
CARMLS stands for Cooperative Arkansas REALTORS® MLS. It is one of the local MLS systems through which Arkansas Flat Fee MLS provides listing coverage.
Does CARMLS cover all of Arkansas?
No. Our approved CARMLS coverage includes the counties listed above. Northwest Arkansas MLS is a separate local option for Benton, Madison and Washington counties; My State MLS is an additional option where appropriate.
Can a Conway homeowner use a flat-fee CARMLS listing?
Conway is in Faulkner County and is assigned to CARMLS in our Arkansas coverage inventory. A flat-fee listing lets the owner obtain MLS exposure while remaining responsible for pricing, showings, negotiations and offers.
Does a CARMLS listing include full-service representation?
Our flat-fee packages provide a seller-controlled MLS listing, not traditional full-service listing representation. The seller remains the decision-maker throughout the sale.
